George F. Indest III, J.D., M.P.A., LL.M.

Mr. Indest is available to review both plaintiff and defendant cases. He has experience with all aspects of business, corporate, transactional, regulatory and administrative health law, as well as professional licensing cases, defense of health care providers, negotiation of sales of health care practices, Medicare Fraud defense and other areas of Health Care Law. He is available for general litigation support and expert witness services including depositions, expert reports and trial testimony.

  • President and Managing Partner of The Health Law Firm located in Altamonte Springs (Orlando), Florida

  • Professor of Health Law at Barry University School of Law (Orlando)
  • Retired Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAGC) Officer, veteran of over 200 courts-martial
  • Member of the state Bars of three different states/territories (including D.C.)
  • Former member of the staff of the Commander in Chief U.S. Atlantic Fleet (CINCLANTFLT) and SACLANT
  • Delivered Legal Lectures and Training to various military organizations including the Surgeons General of the NATO countries on the Geneva Conventions and the Laws of War

Michael L. Smith, R.R.T., J.D.

Mr. Smith has experience with all aspects of health law, including business, corporate, transactional, regulatory and administrative work. He is available for general litigation support and expert witness services including depositions, expert reports and trial testimony.

Experience and Qualifications Include:

  • Board Certified by The Florida Bar in the Legal Specialty of Health Law
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist


Joanne Kenna, R.N., J.D.

Ms. Kenna has experience with both health and nursing law, including professional licensing and credentialing matters, professional board representation, administrative hearings, contracts, licensure issues, corporate matters, transactional matters and litigation. She is available for general litigation support and expert witness services including depositions, expert reports and trial testimony.

Experience and Qualifications Include:

  • Registered Nurse (Illinois)

Carole C. Schriefer, R.N., J.D.

Ms. Schriefer has experience in health law and nursing law, including professional licensing and credentialing matters, professional board representation, administrative procedures, administrative hearings, contracts, licensure issues, corporate matters, transactional matters, Medicare and Medicaid audits, litigation and attorney’s fees. She is available for expert witness services including depositions, expert reports and trial testimony.

Experience and Qualifications Include:

• Member of the bar in Colorado and Florida (Active), Kentucky, Virginia and District of Columbia (Inactive)
• Registered Nurse (Colorado - Active) (Florida - Inactive)
• Former JAG Corps officer
• Served as Assistant Staff Judge Advocate for the Commander, Naval Medical Command, Mid-Atlantic Region, Norfolk, Virginia
• Member of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (T.A.A.N.A.)
