Although The Health Law Firm represents predominantly physicians and other health care providers, we are involved in products liability litigation. However, at the request of our clients, we have agreed to take on and prosecute a number of hip implant cases against their manufacturers for the patients. We currently are representing several plaintiff patients with DePuy hip implants and several plaintiff patients with Stryker hip implants.
Before calling Broadspire, the manufacturer’s representative, contact us for information.
Hip replacement patients across the country are filing thousands of lawsuits against the companies of DePuy and Stryker Orthopaedics. Patients are seeking compensation for their injuries after being implanted with defective metal-on-metal, artificial hip implants.
The Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II modular-neck stems were recalled on July 6, 2012. The DePuy ASR XL hip implant manufactured by the DePuy division of Johnson and Johnson was recalled on August 24, 2010.
Due to design defects, DePuy and Stryker hip implants have been known to corrode and release dangerous levels of metal ions into the body, leading to serious and potentially permanent side effects.
The Health Law Firm has recently undertaken plaintiffs’ products liability cases against the manufacturers of defective hip implants. We are now representing plaintiffs in a number of products liability cases involving both the DePuy hip and the Stryker hip implants. We are able to combine our knowledge of the health law industry with our litigation experience for the benefit of patients.
If you received a DePuy or Stryker hip replacement and have experienced pain, swelling, high levels of metal in your blood, a corrective revision surgery, or other complications, we may be able to help you. To learn more about your legal rights, contact The Health Law Firm for a consultation today.
