Orlando health care attorney George F. Indest III, President and Managing Partner of The Health Law Firm, delivered a seminar to over 25 psychologists and mental health counselors on September 10, 2010, at the Orlando Hilton Inn, at a continuing education course organized by T.W.I.C.E. Educational Services, Inc.. Mr. Indest spoke on issues of health care laws and ethics as well as medical records requirements. Mr. Indest is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in the legal specialty of Health Law.
Mr. Indest talked about "Ethics and Laws for the Helping Professional." Mr. Indest's comments were well received by the group and he received many questions on the topics.
Mr. Indest practices with The Health Law Firm in its Altamonte Springs office, heading up its business and transaction division. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Seminole County Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA), the Health Law Section of The Florida Bar, and many other professional organizations. Mr. Indest has in excess of 25 years of legal experience, including serving as in-house counsel at a teaching hospital. He received his BA and JD degree, cum laude, from Tulane University and also was awarded an LL.M. degree, with highest honors, from George Washington University.
