THE HEALTH LAW FIRM RECERTIFIED AS MINORITY & SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN BUSINESS

Orlando, Fla. - December 9, 2013 - The Health Law Firm has been recertified by the Florida Department of Management Services Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) as a Minority, Women & Service-Disabled Veteran Certified Business Enterprise.

Through this program, the state of Florida offers economic opportunities for service-disabled veterans. The Health Law Firm’s President and Managing Partner, George F. Indest III, is a former naval aviator who also served as a Navy JAG Corps officer. Because of his service, The Health Law Firm is able to be awarded this certification by the state.

The certification of The Health Law Firm as a Minority, Women & Service-Disabled Veteran Certified Business Enterprise grants the firm preferred status when submitting bids for contracts. The Health Law Firm will also receive a first tier referral from the State of Florida, which means the firm is part of the first tier of businesses referred to state agencies seeking to include supplier diversity as a part of their purchase order and contract opportunities. The Health Law Firm is also certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which means the firm is eligible to participate in Veterans First Contracting Program opportunities. Because of this designation by the VA, The Health Law Firm will be granted preferred status when submitting bids for contracts.
