ORLANDO HEALTH ATTORNEY SPEAKS TO DAYTONA STATE COLLEGE RESPIRATORY THERAPY STUDENTS AT RECENT LECTURE

Orlando, Fla. – July 11, 2012 - Michael L. Smith, an attorney at The Health Law Firm, delivered a lecture to respiratory therapy students at Daytona State College on July 9, 2012. Mr. Smith presented a lecture on Department of Health (DOH) licensure and disciplinary actions. More than 40 students and faculty attended the lecture.

Mr. Smith specializes in the legal representation of health providers. His practice encompasses different aspects of health care law, including business, corporate, transactional, regulatory and administrative work, as well as professional licensing and business litigation in health law. Mr. Smith is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Health Law.

In addition to being an attorney, Mr Smith is also a registered respiratory therapist and worked at Florida Hospital for over 20 years. He is a member of The American Association of Respiratory Care and the Florida Society of Respiratory Care.
