Orlando, Fla. – January 24, 2013 - Joanne Kenna, an attorney at The Health Law Firm, presented a lecture to the Central Florida Chapter of the Infusion Nursing Society on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. More than sixty nurses were in attendance as Ms. Kenna explained the purpose of the Florida Board of Nursing, described significant steps in the Florida nursing disciplinary process, and listed practices that can help a nurse protect his or her license.
Ms. Kenna’s practice encompasses most aspects of health care law and nursing law, including the representation of health care providers in professional licensing and credentialing matters, professional board representation, administrative hearings, contracts, licensure issues, corporate matters, transactional matters and litigation.
In addition to being a Florida attorney, Ms. Kenna is also a registered nurse in the state of Illinois.
