Health Law Firm Attorneys Give Seminar For Florida Hospital Residents On Protecting Their Medical License

Orlando, Fla. - October 28, 2014 - Christopher E. Brown and Lance O. Leider, attorneys with The Health Law Firm, spoke to Florida Hospital family medicine residents and medical students. The lecture took place on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Florida Hospital East Orlando. This presentation gave residents and students an overview of Florida licensure regulations and disciplinary proceedings.

Mr. Brown and Mr. Leider discussed the structure of Florida's Board of Osteopathic Medicine, highlighted the significant steps in the Florida disciplinary process, and covered the typical mistakes a physician may make that would warrant disciplinary action. The attorneys concluded the lecture by presenting numerous case studies to illustrate real world scenarios that could jeopardize a physician's license and career.
