Attorneys Christopher E. Brown and Lance O. Leider with The Health Law Firm participated in the Med School Classic Golf Tournament on April 22, 2013. The Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Orlando, Florida, opened its private course for the inaugural tournament. Players from all over the Central Florida community came together to support the University of Central Florida School of Medicine Scholarship Fund.

Attorneys Christopher E. Brown and Lance O. Leider with The Health Law Firm participated in the 11th Annual Ray Bold Classic Golf Tournament. The tournament took place on April 16, 2013, at the Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, Florida. In an annual tradition, friends, family, colleagues and supporters gathered on the green to help benefit the Ray Bolt Foundation, Inc. The Ray Bolt Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to cancer-related causes and remembering Ray Preston Bolt.
The Health Law Firm Attorneys Present Lecture to Florida Hospital - February 20, 2013
Attorneys Lance O. Leider and Carole C. Schriefer with The Health Law Firm delivered a seminar to Florida Hospital's family medicine residents and medical students. The lecture took place on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Florida Hospital East Orlando. The topic focused on types of fraud and abuse in the health care industry.

Alexa Eastwood, The Health Law Firm legal assistant, was recently a presenter at PechaKucha Night in Orlando. PechaKucha Night features some of the most interesting people in Orlando. Ms. Eastwood was one of ten presenters. Each person has 20 slides x 20 seconds to discuss their individual topics. Ms. Eastwood gave her presentation on “Becoming a Savage.” She spoke on her experience of completing an intense 5-6 mile obstacle run, called the Savage Race, while also overcoming asthma.

The topic focused on contracting for physicians and health professionals, primarily by discussing employment agreements.
